The Los Gatos Weekly-Times is once again asking residents to submit their children's letters to Santa for our special issue coming out before Christmas. Please have them in by Dec. 11. The letters may be sent to or dropped off at our office at 634 N. Santa Cruz Ave., Suite 206, Los Gatos, CA 95030. We will also be collecting letters during the Los Gatos Children's Christmas and Holidays Parade taking place on Dec. 5 at 11 a.m. in downtown Los Gatos. For more information, call 408.354.3110. JCC to hold mah jong tournament The Women's Philanthropy of the Jewish Federation of the Silicon Valley is hosting a league-style mah jong tournament at the Addison Penzak Jewish Community Center on Dec. 6 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Experts and novices are invited to join the tournament. Entry is $54, which includes refreshments, lunch and prizes for the winners. The Addison Penzak Jewish Community Center is located at 14855 Oka Road, Los Gatos. Friends of library will host holiday program The Friends of the Los Gatos Public Library will host the chamber ensemble, Soiree Musicale, on Dec. 4, 7-9 p.m., in the Los Gatos Town Council Chambers, 110 E. Main St. The public is invited to the free event to kick off the holiday season with refreshments |
