Police report sheds new light on crash PDF Print E-mail

Tiger Woods was found shoeless and snoring in the street when neighbors came upon him in the moments after Woods crashed his SUV outside his Florida mansion, according to an interviews the Florida Highway Patrol recorded at the scene.

Interviews with Woods' neighbor Jarius Adams and Adams' sister, Kimberly Harris were part of the audio version of the police report, obtained Thursday and reported by the Orlando Sentinel and The Associated Press.

Woods suffered minor injuries when he drove his Cadillac Escalade out of the driveway and crashed into a fire hydrant and tree last Friday. He was not wearing a seat belt.

WASHINGTON — The unemployment rate unexpectedly fell to 10 percent in November as employers cut the smallest number of jobs since the recession began. The better-than-expected job figures are a rare note of encouraging news for the labor market. Still, the respite may be temporary. Many economists expect the unemployment rate to climb into next year as the economy struggles to generate enough jobs for the 15.4 million people out of work.

PARIS — In 2004, while golfing in Ireland, Tiger Woods found himself fielding questions from reporters more interested in his private life than his swing. They wanted to know if it was true that he was about to wed his fiancee, Swedish model Elin Nordegren.

Woods, just as he is now, hit those nosey folks into the rough.

"You guys would be the last people I'd ever tell," he said.
